Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey presents

First debuting in Toronto at the Dakota Tavern in 2015, the Four Chords & The Truth concert series quickly became a bucket-list favourite of songwriters and fans alike, often selling out years in advance.

Featuring the crème de la crème of Canada’s top andemerging songwriters ‘confessing’ the secrets behind their songs in an intimate semi-circle, the series has featured to date over 100 award-winning songwriters, among them Rose Cousins, Matt Mays, Dan Hill, Scott Helman, Jully Black, Paul Reddick, Don Amero, Jason McCoy, Andy Kim, Tom Cochrane, Tyler Shaw, Damhnait Doyle, Liz Rodrigues, Donovan Woods, Russell deCarle, and Sylvia Tyson, and many more…

Founded, curated, and hosted by Nova Scotia-born, Toronto-based singer-songwriter andsongwriter advocate, Andrea England, the series has also been a means through which to give back, via its support of the Unison Fund, a non-profit charity that provides counselling and emergency relief services to the Canadian music community.

Moving Four Chords and the Truth to a new home on the fourth floor of the Allied Music Centre - to the new TD Music Hall - will bring the magic and intimacy of this show to more fans of the songwriter and the song, in a beautiful house custom built for music.

The May 25th lineup will include performances by CCMA and CMA Ontario Award-winning Robyn Ottolini, ECMA “Song of the Year” Award-winner Adam Baldwin, JUNO Award-nominated and Canadian Folk Music Award-winning Julian Taylor, chart-topping singer-songwriter Liz Rodrigues, along with songs from host/curator, Andrea England, and surprise guests, including a songwriter breaking on TikTok’s entertainment platform.
