The 28th annual Honey Jam Concert will feature a variety of young emerging female artists from across Canada representing various cultures in an array of styles which could range from Pop, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Gospel, Opera, Country, R&B, Rock, Soul, Dancehall and more! It's the culmination of a non-profit artist development programme (see honeyjam.com and @thehoneyjam). Auditions take place in June and the lineup will be announced July 1.
Proceeds from ticket sales will help to support the non-profit programme which provides mentoring, educational, performance and networking opportunities It is a welcoming, supportive sisterhood and a safe space for young women to not only learn about the industry but also to be vulnerable, to build self esteem and long-lasting relationships.
