Toronto-based composer and producer David Maurice Francois, professionally known as akaMatisse through his solo work, is one third of the JUNO Award winning electronic group Keys N Krates.

Alongside Keys N Krates he’s headlined tours across North America, Europe, Australia and Asia, in addition to performing at major festivals including Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and Osheaga.

Matisse is also a classically trained pianist and takes inspiration from composers such as Hans Zimmer, Quincy Jones, & Andrew Lloyd Weber. His newest project " The LowKey Concert" is a collection of shows featuring classical piano, singer-songwriters, orchestral musicians and mellow beats. " A modern take on a piano bar" as Matisse puts it.

The LowKey Concert offers a platform for Matisse to display an array of genre-bending and head-turning music that subverts the expectations of its audience and brings classical music into the modern era.
