Massey Hall strives to ensure that all patrons have access to our world class live experiences. We are committed to providing ongoing improvements to the venue and services to support the needs of all patrons through upgraded amenities, seating options and more. The addition of new elevators located at the 178 Victoria Street entrance (south/east corner) allow access to bars, washrooms and accessible seating on the upper floors for the first time in the venue’s 126 year history.

SERVICES

Accessible Seating
All levels of Massey Hall are wheelchair-accessible, and tickets may be purchased online. Guests are welcome to use their own personal assistive devices – however these must be stored outside the auditorium during the performance. At Massey Hall, anyone with accessible needs with tickets on level 100 should arrive at the Front Entrance. Anyone with accessible needs with tickets on levels 200 and 300 should arrive at 178 Victoria Street entrance (South East corner of the building).

Barrier Free facilities
Private, barrier free washrooms are available at Massey Hall.

Bariatric Seating
Bariatric seating options are available at Massey Hall. If you require this service, please email: contactus@mh-rth.com

Advanced Seating Service
We offer special (priority) access at Massey Hall. Advance booking of this service is not required. However advance booking may be done by emailing: frontofhouse@mh-rth.com.

Wheelchair loans
A limited number of courtesy wheelchairs are also available at Massey Hall. Advance booking of this service is not required. However advance booking may be done by emailing: frontofhouse@mh-rth.com.

SIGHT IMPAIRMENT

Digital and Large Font Programs
Program guides are not often distributed at Massey Hall events however, when an artist does provide one, our Front of House staff ensures that larger format versions are available for patrons who require it.

HARD OF HEARING

Assisted Listening Systems
Massey Hall is equipped with a Bosch infrared assisted listening system which requires the use of a receiver and a headset. A limited number of receivers and headsets are available. They are free to borrow and can be picked up at the Front of House office at each venue. Booking in advance is not required, but may be done by emailing frontofhouse@mh-rth.com. The system will accommodate a patron’s personal headset, if it has a 1/8 inch headphone jack. They will NOT work with wireless earbuds.

ASL Interpreted Performances
ASL Interpretation may be available for some presentations. If you require this service, please email contactus@mh-rth.com

SUPPORT PERSONS
Support persons who are accompanying guests with special needs are welcome at Massey Hall. All guests, including support persons, must have a purchased ticket to attend a performance or event.

SERVICE ANIMALS
Service and support animals are welcome at Massey Hall. Service animals should have either a visible indicator, or an identification card or letter from a healthcare practitioner confirming that the customer requires the animal for reasons relating to a disability. Service animals may be accommodated in most seating locations. However, you may contact the box office at: contactus@mh-rth.com to ensure suitable seating is reserved.

SCENT ALLERGIES OR SENSITIVITIES
We discourage patrons from wearing scented products however we cannot guarantee a scent-free environment. Should you experience an allergic reaction due to your seating location, please speak to the House Manager who will do their best relocate you to another section.

OBUS FORMS AND BOOSTER SEATS
Are available at Massey Hall from the Front of House Office. Advance booking is not required but may be done by emailing: frontofhouse@mh-rth.com

FIRST AID
Certified First Aid, Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Automated External Defibrillator (AED) service providers are on duty for every event. Please contact any usher if these services are required.

Accessible Restrooms
For the Main Floor (100 Level) the restrooms are located on the lower level in the Muskoka Spirits Basement Bar, accessible by the front lobby lift. Please ask an usher if you require access to the lift. Accessible restrooms for the Balcony (200 Level) and Gallery (300 Level) are available on the seating level, in the Grolsch Bars on Level 2 & 3. Elevators access to Level 200 and 300 is via the 178 Victoria Street Entrance.

Parking
