Father John Misty has announced a new headlining tour for 2025 in support of Mahashmashana, which will stop at Massey Hall on February 21, 2025. The tour will feature special guest and Merge Records artist Destroyer.

Father John Misty’s Mahashmashana, produced by himself and Drew Erickson, and executive produced by Jonathan Wilson, will be out Friday, November 22nd, 2024 worldwide from Sub Pop and in the UK and Europe from Bella Union.

Mahashmashana features 8 songs across 50 minutes and includes “Screamland” and the aforementioned “She Cleans Up,” along with “Josh Tillman and The Accidental Dose.” The latter two were mixed by BJ Burton.

Mahāśmaśāna (महामशान)— great cremation ground, all things put going thither.
